Visiting the farm

We are currently not doing any sort of visits, unless you're buying goats, because we are getting ready for a wedding. We will begin offering tours, classes and volunteering again early June.

We love to host all sorts of groups here ranging from homeschool groups to girl scout troops to individual families! Our tours generally last a couple of hours and are fully interactive with the farm animals. You will get to learn all about the dairy goats and the role they play here, give them treats, pet them and possibly even try your hand at milking! We also share about all of the rescues, chickens, sheep, gardens and soapmaking. Smaller groups tend to work best for the educational aspect, while larger groups spend most of the time just hanging out with the animals. All tours are guided by myself, so I do have limited availability since I also need to run the farm. While I do not charge a fee for tours, I greatly appreciate donations so I can continue to offer them, as well as take on new rescues and pay for their medical expenses and upkeep. Before coming to the farm, each individual in your group, or their legal parent or guardian, must fill out a liability waiver and bring them. A copy will be sent to your email address. If I don't receive a signed waiver, the individual cannot proceed with the tour. Please send an email to to set up a tour.

We have begun to offer volunteer opportunities here on the farm since I run it solo and have gotten many requests! Every volunteer opportunity will be different, but you can expect to participate in at least one of the following jobs: cleaning stalls, fixing fences, building projects, repairs, planting, weeding, and general clean up of the pastures and barn. If you sign up to volunteer, expect to be here for 2-4 hours and dress appropriately. It is recommended you bring a drink and work gloves(and a snack might be nice). The volunteer group size will be no larger than 10 participants at a time to ensure things stay on track. You must be 12 years or older to participate. Volunteer days will always be on Saturdays and will begin at 1 p.m. and may end anytime between 3-5 p.m. In order to participate, you must sign up below. If you can't make it the day you signed up for, please let me know 48 hours prior so I can open your spot to someone else. If you are needing volunteer hours, I'm happy to sign off on that! Once you RSVP, you'll receive an email with a liability waiver that I will need signed and brought to me on your first visit. If you become a regular, you will only need to sign the waiver your first time.

Coming in June!
